CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school lays due emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, to improve and bring forth the inner talents of the children. Yoga and meditation classes are held on a regular basis to increase the concentration power of our students. The school has separate faculty for Music, Dance, Fine art and craft. Under the guidance of our highly qualified and dedicated experts events such as debates, elocution, singing, dancing, mono acting, mimicry, fancy dress and extempore are organized once a week to develop confidence and overcome stage fear, Educational trips, picnics and excursions are organized periodically.
Students are trained for all the outdoor & indoor sports viz football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis, chess, badminton, cricket base-ball and billiards.
Music Education is important because it gives students a way to connect with other people. Children are naturally very social and it is important to encourage them to build relationships by providing them experiences to share with each other. So we provide music classes to all students by an expert teacher. We also have a band with all the instruments of music. We support and teach them for school level as well as competitions. Many students have brought glory to the school by winning in competitions.
Dance Class
To take care of aesthetic aspects of children, our school provides separate dance classroom. Students practice dances for the school as well as National & International competitions under utmost care of our well trained dance teachers. Especially we provide classical and semi-classical dance classes to the children. Our dazzling stars have brought so much glory to the school by competing in the National & International levels and rocked it by securing excellent positions.
SCIENCE EXHIBITION
Every year a science exhibition held in our school. Students of each class participate in the exhibition and show their inner potentiality to be a scientist. It encourages students to create something new.
KARATE CLASS
Martial arts as an educational system are of paramount importance for everybody especially for children. Karate benefits children at every aspect of their life like physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. Our school provides a solid platform of Karate class by a master trainer in order to develop balance, coordination, focus, respect, discipline and self defense.
YOGA
Yoga is basically the most important ancient art that aims towards the building up of a healthy mind within a healthy body. For that reason, it is considered to be the harmonizing system which rejuvenates the body, mind as well as the soul. So our school provides Yoga classes to all the students by trained Yoga teachers to boost self esteem and confidence.
MATHS LAB
The school provides a well-maintained maths lab. It is a place where students can learn and explore the mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of activities using different materials. These facilities are carried out by the teacher for the student to explore, to learn, to stimulate interest and to develop a favorable attitude towards mathematics.
SMART CLASS
Our school has been bind up with Educomp. The school provides an Educomp smart class. Lessons are taught through a projector. We deal with all the theoretical concepts in a practical way by using the Educomp smart class.
TRANSPORT
The school provides a good transport facility with minimum charges. The school has 06 buses and many vans to bring the student to school. The main important facility of our transport is to provide door to door provision.
EXTRA CLASSES
The school provides extra class facilities to the backbenchers, throughout the year with a minimum charge. Highly qualified and experienced teachers have been given charge for the same. Our motto is to develop the student by applying different methods and techniques.
COMPUTER DEPARTMENT
Keeping in mind the rapid computerization in all the fields, sound knowledge of computers has to go hand in hand with studies. The school has a fully equipped computer lab. Every student has a separate system to work on. Computer education is a part of the regular curriculum and is compulsory from Pre-primary onwards.
LABORATORIES
Experimental study grasps the knowledge faster and ensures better absorption of the theory. Hence the school possess well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
LIBRARY
The school has a good collection of books, which covers a wide range of subject viz: books of stories, plays, poems, fictions, classics, encyclopedia, art etc. Periods are allotted to each class for the library so that students can be encouraged to develop the reading habit. The library also provides daily newspapers, magazines and periodicals keeping students updated with the outside world.
HEALTH CARE
A regular, periodic check-up of every child is undertaken by a child specialist. A health card is maintained for each child. The school has tied up with a team of medical specialists for consultation and also for prompt service in a case of an emergency.
PARENT – TEACHER MEETING
Parent – Teacher meetings are held regularly. This is to facilitate interaction & to ensure personal feedback and follow-up of each student. It is believed that this interaction brings the parents & the teachers closer to the child, for his/her growth & development.
SPORTS
Sports are a part and parcel, of our school. The school provides all the facilities for outdoor games and indoor games. There is an enormous field in the school campus for outdoor games. Sports room are used for indoor games. During the previous years, many students have participated at the state level and central level and they have brought glory to the school.
